Another year gone.
Time seems to fly exceptionally fast this year.
Tons of homework and notes were given.
Took many tests and a few major exams.
The most important one would of course be the final one - A level examination.

I wonder if i would regret my action.
That is, to give up before the exam.
Hopefully the results that will be released in March can get me into SIM.
Then, most probably i wouldn't regret at all.
After all, i've lost interest in studying, for now.

I went on cruise for 4 days 3 nights.
Enjoyed myself for most of the parts.
We got to walk around Phuket and Penang.
Bought a few things.
When we reached Penang, it was raining.
At Phuket, however, sun was scorching like mad.

Now I'm home again, staring at my laptop for hours watching k dramas.
Haha..

Oh ya.
My bro's girlfriend came to our hse yesterday.
She bought muffins for us.
She is really a nice person.
Very friendly (:
It will be good if they can be together for the rest of their lives.

it was a fun, exciting, interesting and cool trip (:
this time, i went for a seven days tour around taiwan.
and we got a funny and annoying tour guide.

Yay!! Finally the promotional exam is over!
All that's left is to wait for the results.
Although many of my friends have been telling me that it wouldn't be a problem for me to get promoted, i don't dare to pin high hopes since nothing has been confirmed at this point of time.
Anyway, i've been slacking for the past few days.

Right after i finished my last paper, i went to meet revathi(:
We had dinner at suki sushi.
We ordered cha soba for a try but it turned out to be quite horrible as the noodles tasted like rubber bands >.<
After that we went shopping and revathi bought me a necklace as my birthday present(:

i feel that it is good that exam is over, but there's nothing much to do now and i'm bored for most of the time now.

time flies. 18 years have past.
if i was promoted to J2 last year, i'd be mugging for A lvl now.
but since i wasn't, i'm given another chance at J1 again.
thinking back, although last year's promos was around the same time as this year, the feeling is different.
and i guess it's because it's my last chance.
should i not do well this time round, i'd be kicked out of sch and no place to go.
my wish for this year is simple.
and that is to get promoted with ranking points much more that what is required.
for that to happen, hardwork is compulsory.
so what i need to do now is to do as much as i can, and i hope i can do it (:

i think i'm getting more lazy each day.
so lazy that i don't even feel like blogging for many days.

yet somehow i managed to get my hands to the laptop and start typing.

this start of august seems to be an eventful one.
on 1st of aug, sat, our sch organised the wIll run whereby everyone in the sch has to run/walk 10km within a given duration.
i, of course, chose to walk (again).
this time round, i was with amanda and michelle.
i was faster than last year.
took about 2hr 30min to reach the sch.
this is already quite an achievement for me, you know?
haha.
after the whole thing ended, i went to revathi's hse to bathe and had lunch there.
then we went for ice cream! (will post photos in next post)

after wIll run, my sec sch held its family day ystd, on 8th aug.
i went back with Quan (:
had lunch there too.

so i'm left with about 2 months and 3 weeks til promos.
omg..

next week i will be having 3 tests - chem hol hw test, gaseous state test and chinese test.
and i havent' study for any of the tests yet.

everytime after i take a paper, i'll go home and estimate my chances of getting 50 ranking points.
why 50?
well..it's because a teacher once told me that i'm a repeat student.
and if i can't even get 50 ranking points, then even if i can promote to J2 by the end of this year, i'm going to have a hard life next year.
but to me, getting that 50 points is no easy task.
most papers that i took only made my life more miserable as the aim of scoring 50 points seem to drift further and further away.
i'm only left with chinese paper 2 now.
it seems to me that my H1s are all not going to make.
so now i'm pinning my hopes on the H2s.
i really don't want to hear from my teacher that he needs to see my parents cause that only means that my results are as bad as last yr's.
and i seriously hope that that's not going to happen.

bio proved to be a disaster today.
though it's a 2 hr paper, i finished it in half the time given.
so can you imagine how much i suck at bio?
is like i seriously don't know how to do and what to write.
so the only way is to brush it up during the june hols.
i'll be going to revathi's hse to ask her teach me since she's a pro now.
haha.

anyway..to pull up my socks is a must.
but for now, i'll enjoy my short break before proceeding to my chinese notes.

i'm sure i don't like exams. at all.
i've nv been so stressed out over exams.
guess it's because i'm a repeat student and i've already used up my only chance to get retained.

GP was a total nightmare.
chinese paper 1 was about the same.
math was better..at least my chances of passing is higher.

i'm so glad i choose to do chem at H2 level.

i met maureen last week for lunch.
it was great.
first time spending up to $22 at suki. hee.

as for this week, nothing much happened except that i manage to pass my 2.4 today!

chung ai has been here for about two years.

i really like her a lot.

now that she's going back, i'm gonna miss her lots.
hope she'll still rmb me when she comes back for a visit.

i had a compre test this morning, which was followed by chinese lesson.

though the teacher said the lesson wouldn't take too long, but it ended at 11+ am (started at 10am).

think i'm going to flunk the compre test.

oh ya. we'll be getting back our 1st chem lec test on mon.

i wonder if i manage to be one of the lucky three to pass the test.

afterall my teacher said only less than 20% in the class passed and that makes me worried. (my class has 17 ppl taking H2 chem)

hw is once again piling up and i haven't started on anything yet.

yesterday, the PW results were released.

our sch did well.

the number of ppl getting A increased from 7% to 68.8%.

i got an A.

but it was really unexpected.

i'm not too sure about the arts stream.

woots!
went to pasir ris park today.
the PE department organised a outdoor activity for all students.
the aim was to bond the class together.
but it makes not much sense to the ppl in my class.
reason being only 12 ppl from our class are promoted while the rest are retained.
and these 12 ppl will be put into different classes next year due to re-shufflement.
so we all thought that it's useless to go for the outdoor activity.

well..i'm being retained and i have no wish of having a fair/poor conduct.
so i went, since i don't want to buy MC or take the risk of being said as playing truancy.
there was only 10 ppl from my class who turn up.
me,wanli,taihong,nevin and nicholas in a group.
chester,peixuan,yenting,waiihoong and jiawen in another.

there were 6 stations.
1.ms rivera- we had to use a rope to get things out from a "pit-like-structure"
2.ms liu- make a kite that can fly
3.ms yong- some game that make us hop, turn around a stick and run
4.only counsilors- relay
5.ms aw- two ppl blind folded and the rest standing at the side to guide them
6.i forgot

anyway..i thought it was quite fun.

i really enjoyed my PE lesson today.
we're supposed to run but the teachers decided to let us play games instead.
so, i got to play frisbee.

same goes for the teacher who's teaching us.
although it's kind of him to show us the samples, i think that he should have shown us earlier and not make us do all the changes by 1 or 2 days.

i must say that today is really a very lovely day.

hazel and i went back to secondary sch to get our certs.
we met daphne,nasuha,shuwen,wingyan and nara too.
to me, i thought that some things have change.
teachers who i once thought as very irritating or whatever, are now friendly rather than being very naggy and all..
for the upcoming speech day this year, nara will be the valedictorian.
as her classmate, i'm really proud of her.
i hope that the graduating classes of this year can do better and bring more glory to the sch.

i'll be having quite a couple of tests next week..

yay!! finally i get to get out of house.
since JC life started in feb, my 24 hours revolve around two places-home and school.
everyday when i get home, i drop dead on my bed but force myself to get up just to complete the tutorials that would be due the next day.
pathetic right?
i should have worked harder and get into a better sch that starts lessons at the same time but end much earlier. *sigh*
oh well..
I'M STILL HAPPY THAT I WENT OUT WITH MY SISTER TODAY!!
we went to takashimaya and i treated her to green tea ice cream.
glad that she like it.

life is SRJC is killing me.
ok..it's not really that serious.
but it's kind of REALLY boring.
it's like..you sit in the sch for hours listening to boring lectures until your ass is damn sore.
what's even worse is that the lecturers will bomb you with tutorials and expect you to complete everything even if nothing went into your brain during the lectures.
hiaz..now what i want to do is to get out of that sch,and quick.
for friends who haven't seen me for quite a long time,don't be shocked if you see me become anti social,for i've decided to be a loner for this two years until i get out of the sch.
reason is simple.
i think that friends will distract me from studying.
so,no new friends = no distractions.

alright..now i'm going to write about what happened yesterday.
i went to takashimaya to meet aikcheng at the fountain at 11am.
but before leaving the hse..i called to the stall just to find out that someone else was there. [we thought that only one person would be there]
hiaz.
that was totally unexpected.

to avoid having to wait for aikcheng for too long [in case she's late], i strolled slowly through wisma and then to taka.
thank god she was there when i reached.
then we went in to give back our uniforms,punchcards and etc.
next we wondered around the shops there to wait for time to pass as we wanted to have lunch with aikcheng's cousin.
however,it was to our surprise that he can only have his meal in the stuff canteen.
sigh..how miserable.
to make his life better, we decided to accompany/ watch him eat.
and after he finished his break, we went to have pasta for lunch and shared a cup of belgian choc milkshake. [i had slipper lobster =) ]
after which, we went to paragon since aikcheng wanted to do some shopping.

yupp..that's about all.

time has been passing so fast..especially when i've got a job.
recently, because of the fair at the square just outside, we're only left with three person working "inside".
it just means that i have to work for longer hours.
oh well..it's alright, i guess.

17th of Feb would be the last day of my work..guess i'm going to miss some ppl there.

woohoo.
finally i get to experience how it feels like to be happy when working.
haha.
yesterday i was sheduled to work from 9am-3pm.
but i was late for 12 minutes.
all because of that stupid traffice jam.
anyway..that didn't really affect my mood.
the thing that made work so enjoyable was that the person with A.P didn't come[which means that i don't have to work with her.]
wahahahahaha.
not having to see her dumb and idiotic face seriously make my day :)
also, because there were very little customers, we[aikcheng,kahfei & i] get to slack and fool around.
plus, we were treated to free drinks.
oh well..they certainly have let me witness the enjoyable side of work.

God..i feel so bad towards aikcheng.
because of my extremly lousy sense of direction and my clumsiness, she had to go home later than usual.
for that..i'm really sorry.
ok..to me, the shirt is a problem.
i only have ONE shirt[the so called uniform], so when i don't have the time to let it dry..obviously i'm not going to wash it for fear of wearing a damp shirt to work.
i know it sounds disgusting to any of you who is reading this now because i feel the same way too.
and so..i decided to take offs on weekends so i have plenty of time to get my shirt cleaned and dried.
but it's not up to me to decide when i can have offdays..so i really hope kah fei[my supervisor] can grant my wish.

i love quan quan,yunqi and xiao man!!
and i'll really love hazel lots soon..after she come and "pick me up" after work.

ok..on the 26th of dec..quan quan and quan ren came to taka.
they wanted to buy some books at kino, and quan quan was kind enough to come and meet me so that we can go home together.
how sweet of her.
then just as we wave good bye to each other as soon as we got out from the mrt station, i saw yunqi. [quan's dad couldn't give me a lift that day]
she treated to some dim sums!!
can you believe it?!
wahahaha.
as a result, i had dim sums for dinner that day. [now that's the reason why i love yunqi]
anyway..yaorui came to get his present and went.
then on the 27th [yesterday], xiao man came after her job interview.
she was successful in getting her job!! congrats.
then we went to j8 to have dinner..and she treated me to pasta mania since she got the job.
yay!! pasta!!
i really love them.
maybe i should try the carbonara next time..looks good.
finally, on the 28th [today], i'll wait for hazel to come. :)
then we'll probably walk around to buy some snacks..
hmm..i really enjoy the days when i can see my friends or relatives.

hmm..yesterday's night shift was tiring but ok.
my cousin and aunt came. =)
i wanted to let them try the ice creams but there were too many ppl at that time.
as a result, they only managed to take 2 photos and left. [so sad!!]
since yesterday was a public holiday, many ppl came.
green tea,the best seller, was soon sold out.
quite a number of customers were disappointed as they came specially for the green tea ice cream.
oh yes..we earned about $2300+ by the end of the day.
isn't it great.
i also get to take a chocolate cake home too [it's from the cake stall beside us]
so as a summary, everything went well.

yesterday i went for my first morning shift.
i learnt that there were lots of cleaning to do.
if i'm in the morning shift, i'll have to clean the glass, wash the covers and etc.
oh yes..i also have to chop up the ice cream and 'mould' them neatly in their containers.
well..it was quite ok..considering that there was someone with me and there weren't many customers.
i'll be doing my first night shift today..hope everything goes well.

yesterday, i started working at an ice cream stall in takashimaya.
i realised that the job is not as easy as i thought.
digging the ice cream and mould it into a shape that is presentable is sure not an easy task.
most of the people who are working with me, are generally easy going.
well..i think i can still bear with the work load at the moment.
but i pray that i'll be able to learn things faster.
